Description
Prairie Smoke (geum triflorum) is a wildflower which is native to Northwestern Montana. Its' blossoms hang from the stem sort of like Chinese lanterns. Also known as Old Mans' Whiskers,the plant has medicinal properties. It was used by the Plateau Indians to treat tuberculosis. Taken with a Fujifilm S7000 set on macro.
