Description
Lupine or lupin (lupinus perennis) is native to many areas of the world besides the northwestern Americas, including Mediterranean and South American mountainous regions. A popular food source, it has been used in the Andes for over 6000 years and in the Mediterranean for approximately 3000 years. The seeds are similar to beans and are used as one would any legume. Taken with a Fujifilm S7000 set on macro.
