Description
Mountain Chickadees are one of a wide variety of Chickadees native to North America. They are a non-migratory song bird of the species Poecile Gambeli or Parus Gambeli. They can be found from the Youkon all the way down to California. They are monogamous and travel mostly in pairs or small groups. Their diet consists of insects and various seeds. They can be distinguished from their relative, the Black Headed Chickadee by their white "eyebrows". They are also known as "cheese burger" birds due to their call sounding like "cheese burger".
